Sylvain de Forges is Director, Risks and Markets of Veolia Environnement since July 2007.
Before joining Veolia Environment in 2003 as Head of Financial Operations, he was the Chief Executive of the "Agency France Trésor " (AFT).
Prior to that he was the Minister Counsellor for Financial Affairs at the French Embassy in London and Director for France at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
He previously worked for the French Treasury Department and was from 1995 to 1998 Assistant Secretary for Monetary and Financial Policy.
Sylvain de Forges is postgraduate in Political Economy and is a former student of the Ecole Polytechique and Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
